BIOGRAPHY

Abigail is an MD/PhD student who joined the tenOever lab for her graduate studies in 2025. During her undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at NC State, she worked in a metaproteomics and microbial symbioses lab investigating microbial growth rates in situ. In the tenOever lab, she is interested in host-pathogen interactions and the evolution of the antiviral response. She is also pursuing a clinical specialty in pediatric infectious disease, with a particular focus on immunocompromised patients.
