BIOGRAPHY

Harrison is an MS student at NYU’s Graduate School of Arts and Science specializing in recombinant DNA technology. In his undergraduate studies he studied cryptic speciation within stingaree populations and has developed a novel DNA extraction protocol for the aerobiome in the laboratory of Professor Elizabeth Hénaff. In the tenOever lab, Harrison is interested in developing novel reverse genetics systems to research the biology of Thogotoviruses. He is also working on computational approaches for dissecting Influenza A polymorphisms and flexible genome regions.
