BIOGRAPHY

I am a French molecular and cellular biologist who is working on the mammalian antiviral response against emerging viruses. During my PhD, I worked on the involvement of the Dicer protein from the RNA interference pathway in the human antiviral response against alphaviruses. I could show that Dicer interacts with actors from the mammalian type I interferon response and that its helicase domain limits the constitutive activation of this immune pathway. This reinforced the idea of a cross-talk between the two antiviral responses in mammals.
